My name is Louisa Cummins, I signed up with LEARN DIRECT for a marine biology course (level 3/A level) in June 2025. I am a diving instructor, I chose the course to be able to apply for jobs requiring a qualification and because I love the amazing range of animals I see underwater. My work season is super busy so I did not touch the course I bought.

OCTOBER 2025, MY LIFE COLLAPSED

I finished my season and returned home to the UK, I felt my heart beating strangely and couldn't breath well. Went to the local GP nurse who ran an ECG and they rushed me into hospital. 

I enter the NHS fast track cancer system and get a PET CT scan of stage 3 lung cancer. As well as being concerned for life I worred about my finances due to loss of livelihood.  I decided to ASK FOR A REFUND FROM LEARN DIRECT WHOSE COURSE I HAD NOT EVEN STARTED. 

I tried to access support numbers and sent e-mails. I have now understood that they are the most despicale, fraudulant education providers in the world. I have filed a police complaint and small claims court. I now need your help. Please add your story and email address to be a witness to bring these scammers down!

After they refused my refund I began to investigate? How can people be so heartless??

The course was bull****. then I looked the up on glassdoor.com, google reviews and trust pilot 1 star stories. I LOOKED UP WHO RUNS THE COMPANY, THEY ARE INVESTMENT BANKERS THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE FABRIC OF SOCIETY, ONLY PROFIT. THEY ARE DISGUSTING, THEY ARE TURNING EDUCATION INTO PROFIT FOR THE 1% OF RICH PEOPLE. LETS FIGHT !!!!! LETS CLOSE THEM DOWN.
